This scarf was programmed, industrially machine knit, and hand finished, all in Seattle, WA. The yarn used is a 100% machine washable acrylic in black and red. Ships with source code in Processing for the exact slice of the Mandelbrot set knit into the scarf. The code is pixel native to what is knit into the scarf: includes number of iterations and navigation in the Mandelbrot set. These are a limited edition item knit in small batches. Please note that the red color is difficult to photograph and may appear differently on your screen or monitor. It's a bright, true red.
This scarf is a second. It had an error at one end that has been repaired by hand. See the last two images to see how this repaired error looks. This scarf is fully reversible, with the opposite colors on the back from the front. 7 inches wide by 76 inches long. Machine washable on warm, tumble dry low. We have washed and dried this scarf once for you. Comes with printed out source code, care instructions, and a small amount of repair yarn in the same dyelot as was used to knit your scarf.
